So today, I had a dentist (orthodontist,whatever) appointment today. The appointment was scheduled around 12:00, near the middle of 4th Period and lunch. I thought, "Hey, this shouldn't take too long. After all, the Dentist office was only a 15 minute drive from where I live, and the appointment only takes about 30 minutes. I could totally make it back in time for my 5th period to take my test." Boy was I wrong. It took a long time to even get to the office because my brother's car kept overheating (I think it was a leak in the coolant tank or something) and everytime we'd see smoke come out of the car, we would have to pull over and wait for the car to cool down. I finally arrived at the dentist at 12:21. The appointment took about 40 minutes because they were taking off part of my braces, but not the whole thing, and had to make an impression of my mouth (for my retainer or something). By the time I got out, it was 1:00. I still thought I could make it back to school in time, but nope. The car started to overheat even more, and we couldn't drive at least 1 block without the car making some sputtering noise and smoke coming out of it. It was so annoying, and eventually, we had to call a tow truck. The only problem was, we didn't know what street we were on, so my brother had to step out of the car and look for a street sign. It took about 35 minutes for the truck to come, and dammit, I really had to pee. I was also sick today, and my head felt like crap and I was shivering all over, even though I was wearing a jacket. By the time we got to the auto shop, I went to the nearest restaurant and used their restroom before I peed myself. By the time this was over, it was 3:15. School was already over and god knows what I'd missed in APUSH and Mandarin. F my life.
